Neil Truglio (founder)

Neil Truglio, Denver-based artist and educator, is the Education Director for SeriesFest. He has also served as the Education Director and Director of PR for Denver Film, and the Denver Film Festival. Additionally, Neil worked as a public school educator for six years in the Cherry Creek School District, teaching theatre and film. Neil is an adjunct faculty at the Colorado Film School, a teaching artist with both the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Curious Theatre, as well as the founding artist behind Modest Arts, a youth-orientated arts program for theatre students. Neil's work as a director and actor has been seen in film festivals across the globe, highlighted by his feature film debut, We Are the Sea. Neil currently serves as the Artistic Director for Benchmark Theatre.

Scott Kinnamon (retired)

Scott Kinnamon, is a Denver-based filmmaker, educator and artist. He has worked in the film/video industry for 30 years. Since 2002, Scott, recognizing the potential of video and digital media as powerful educational tools, has taught film to thousands of kids in a variety of settings; developed comprehensive digital media curricula for middle and high school; and has provided Professional Development to educators on integrating digital media into curriculum. In 2009, working with the Denver Film Society, Scott founded and developed the Young Filmmakers Workshop, offering filmmaking workshops for 12-18 year olds. Over 11 years, YFW served more than 1000 teens, was a major presence at the Denver Film Festival and mini-festivals throughout the year. Through his work, Scott has sent hundreds of teens to film schools across the nation. In January 2011, the Denver Post chose Scott as the 2011 Pathmaker of the Year for his work in film and education and in 2019, He was awarded the Judy Anderson Founders Award from Platte Forum.
